Work Experience

Environment Minnesota/Fund for the Public Interest

During the summer of 2017, I worked as a canvasser and field manager for Fund for the Public Interest on Environment Minnesota’s campaign. This entailed being responsible for a crew most days as well as going door to door to identify supporters of the campaign. I developed and used excellent communication skills to interact with a variety of people from those heavily in favor of our campaign to those morally and ideologically against not only what I was doing, but also how. In addition to the skills I gained and utilized as a canvasser, I was very quickly put in a leadership role and handled any situations that came up with my crew while out in the field.

Cornell College

During the summer of 2016, I worked for Cornell College’s IT department. I was responsible for answering work orders as they come in, working to perform general summer maintenance on all the various computer labs on campus, and helping to upgrade faculty to brand new laptops.

I worked for Cornell College’s Offices of Marketing and Communications during the summer of 2015. I was responsible for organizing their photo database and then I worked on archiving old issues of The Cornell Report online using WordPress.

Lisbon

I worked for the Lisbon Community School District as a Computer Tech from June 2014 to December 2014. I was responsible for making sure that hundreds of iPads were configured correctly, setting up over 200 MacBook Airs, entering WiFi data into LCS’ server, along with general troubleshooting and problem solving as is standard in a school tech environment.
